We serve at-risk youth ages 14-21 years old in our current Hip Hop Hello Greeting Card Program, which is a unique ARTrepreneur Program offered in collaboration with Black United Fund of Illinois, and Dime Child Foundation. The program is geared to address the social and emotional needs of youth while helping them learn important business and artistic skills.

The Hip Hop Hello project is a multi-disciplinary project offered to introduce participants to media arts, literary arts, music production, and visual arts with an approach that strengthens the social and emotional skills needed for resolving conflicts, positive team building, self-awareness, and constructive communication.  Each of the four program components are designed to provide young people with valuable, life changing insight through hands-on engagement, challenging arts instruction, and a unique business opportunity.

Ray of Hope’s Faces of Truth consists of young adults ages 16-25 years old and provides performances at conferences, meetings, town hall meetings, rallies, and other similar events. The group performs both locally and nationally.

Ray of Hope Center of the Arts is a member of The Jane Goodall Institute which is an international organization that addresses issues affecting the environment, people, and animals in over 20 countries. Through this membership, our specialized Roots and Shoots Youth Leadership program is another facet of Faces of Truth provided for teens 14 – 19 years old. This youth ensemble employs the arts to impart important and critical messages designed to reduce youth violence.
